The aggregate state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine in the year 2018 increased by 2.46 % or 2.02 billion dollars, Hromadske reports.
At present, Ukraine’s total public debt is 78.32 billion USD. In the hryvnia equivalent, Ukraine’s state debt is 2.17 trillion hryvnias. This is stated in the data of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. At the same time, in December 2018, the volume of public debt grew by 4.77 %, in the hryvnia equivalent of growth amounted to 2.17 %.
Previously, the Accounting Chamber reported that 40 % of the budget for 2019 will go on repayment of public debt.
