The 18-year-old Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska made her way to the third round of the first Australian Open Grand Slam Tournament in Melbourne, reports Ukrainska Pravda.

In the second round, Yastremskaya in three sets defeated twenty-three-year-old Spaniard Carla Suarez Navarro – 6: 3, 3: 6, 6: 1. In the decisive party, Dayana did not allow the Spaniard to breathe freely, giving her only one game. The match lasted for an hour and a half.

Thus, Yastremska joined the first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina, who has defeated in the two sets, Slovakian Viktoriya Kuzhmova. In the third round, Dayana will meet with the ex-first racket of the world, American Serena Williams.
