By the year 2100, some 34 Ukrainian cities may be flooded, and totally 62 villages, 660 environmentally hazardous sites, 200 thousand hectares of agricultural land and 98 objects of the nature reserve fund are at risk, UNIAN writes.
In addition, 75,000 people are at risk of becoming climate migrants. According to experts, it is necessary to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and switch to clean energy sources by the middle of the century, in order to prevent this. These are the results of the “Eco” study and scientists.
