The US Air Force’s Strategic Reconnaissance aircraft carried out a long-time flight near Crimea on the day’s eve. This is reported by the Liveuamap resource on its Twitter page, Radio Liberty writes.
“The RC135V Rivet Joint US Air Force PING41 6414841 aircraft, within the framework of an intelligence mission in the Black Sea region, collects information on the situation in the Crimea and the Russian coast,” the report said.
In the course of the task, the publication writes, the plane flew at least six times south of the Kerch Strait. In the region of Sevastopol, the plane approached the coast of the peninsula at a distance of about 46 km.
Similar flights of American reconnaissance aircraft are regular.
