Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said the agency will not accept applications for registration of Russian observers, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
According to him, a few days ago he sent a letter to the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Ingeborg Solrun Gisladottir, with an invitation to send a monitoring mission to the presidential election in Ukraine.
“I think this is necessary when it comes to observers from the aggressor and occupation country. By the way, there are a lot of such precedents in the OSCE practice,” he said.
