The Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund has approved a stand-by aid program for Ukraine for 14 months for a total of $ 3.9 billion, Ukrainska Pravda writes.
“It was approved and the decision to allocate within the framework of this program the first tranche of 1.4 billion dollars, which will take place in the near future,” the president said.
As the Ministry of Finance has specified, the first tranche must be paid to Ukraine by December 25.
