Members of the European Parliament characterized the project of the Nord Stream-2 pipeline construction «as it is a political project that poses a threat to European energy security». This is reported by the press service of the European Parliament.
The resolution was supported by 433 MEPs, 105 voted against, 30 abstained. The document says that the European Parliament considers Ukraine’s role as crucial for the European energy supply network.
