US President Donald Trump has agreed to allocate $ 750 billion to the Pentagon for the 2019 fiscal year (commencing on October 10), CNN reports.

“The president fully endorses the national defence strategy and the continuation of the rebuilding of the Armed Forces. With the help of Senator Inhofe and chairman Thornberry, Trump agreed to 750 billion dollars,” said the source of the TV company. They managed to convince Trump not to save on defense. The US president has increased the funding of the Defense Department immediately by $ 34 billion. Now the Pentagon must persuade the Congress to allocate $ 750 billion to military needs.

In August, the US Senate has already approved a defense budget for 2019, it amounted to $ 717 billion. Of these, the United States was about to send 250 million to Ukraine to help strengthen its defense capability. Despite the increase in the budget, the amount for Ukraine has not changed at the moment.
