During the protests of “yellow vests” in Paris, the Ukrainian cultural and information center was attacked, UNIAN reports.
Vandals damaged the nameplate with the name of the center at the entrance to the building.
The Ukrainian cultural and information center works at the Ukrainian Embassy in France on the Avenue de Messin in the area of the Monsso Park.
“Yellow vests fought with banks, supermarkets, bourgeois shops and the Ukrainian cultural centre in Paris, and I saw the Frenchman in his vest, who, shouting Russian swear words, was smashing his horn on the plate. Sniffing his sleeve”, a people’s deputy of Ukraine, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Volodymyr Aryev commented on the vandal’s trick.
