The state enterprise “Ukraerorukh” opened airspace within a radius of 30 km from the epicenter of the explosions in the warehouses of the 6th arsenal of the Ministry of Defense near the town of Ichnya in the Chernihiv region, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
“Today at 00:00 we completely opened the airspace from the surface of the Earth to infinity (unlimited) within a radius of 30 km from the epicenter of the explosions on October 9, 2018 in ammunition depots in the area of Ichnya in Chernihiv region,” the deputy director’s press service quotes “Ukraerorukh” Major General Oleksandr Volkov. It is also reported that this situation “had no effect on operational air traffic and did not cause any delays for aircrafts.”
