Ukraine has requested the United States to buy air defense systems worth $ 750 million for one unit, if necessary, at least three appropriate military complexes for the Ukrainian army. This was stated by an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chalyy in an interview with “Radio New time”.
“Our needs for the next period, in my opinion, are maritime space, airspace, that is, without which we simply will not be able to provide defense of the country,” he said. The ambassador also said that Ukraine needs unmanned aerial vehicles, counterbalanced radar and counter-sniper systems. According to him, the relevant request was voiced at the “highest and highest level” – at meetings of the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States in Brussels and the meetings of the Ukrainian side with the advisor of national security John Bolton.
