As a result of the fighting, on Thursday four Ukrainian servicemen were killed, seven more were wounded to various degrees. In addition, as a result of enemy shelling, another military man was killed. This was announced at a briefing by Defense Minister Dmitry Gutsulyak, Ukrainska Pravda writes.
Around 6 a.m., under cover of artillery and mortar fire, the enemy approached the advanced positions of one of the mechanized brigades in the vicinity of the settlement. “Krymske” and made an attempt to seize observation posts along the Bakhmut route. The command of the brigade used reserves to repulse the attack, and a fire defeat was made, as a result of which the enemy’s attack was repulsed. Gutsulyak specified that the battle lasted 5 hours.
