The weather forecast for the next few days is special, like everything you feel now, you see, you analyze and observe. Today is the Flag Day, and on August 24 is the Independence Day. Our Flag and our Independence. And the colors of this season do contain a lot of blue, yellow, so once again you think that no coincidence is accidental. These wonderful August days were to become an excellent background for Ukraine’s gaining freedom.
And the weather today and tomorrow, on August 23 and 24, is also not accidentally expected to be remarkable. Almost in all areas – high atmospheric pressure, clear skies, yellow sun and comfortable heat of late summer, +25 +29 degrees. Unless in the western regions local rains are possible, and in the southern part it will grow to a moderate heat, up to +30 degrees on August 24.

On August 25-26, the air temperature will start to worry that autumn is near and will decide to take revenge on the hot weather. In Ukraine, it will be hot, +27 +32 degrees. In Lviv region, Transcarpathia, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, local rains briefly reduce the air temperature by 3-5 degrees.
But on August 27 and 28, for the first time, the autumn will announce its arrival. In the western regions, there will be a sharp change in the weather in the direction of cooling. Columns of thermometers will fall in the daytime to +18 +22 degrees, in some places up to +14 +19 degrees. The rest of Ukraine will still belong to the power of the summer – it will be dry and hot. In the future, cooling will go deeper into the country. In Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsya, Chernihiv, Kirovograd regions, the air temperature will drop to +20 +25 degrees. Cooling will last until the end of August and will continue to the beginning of September. The southern part and the eastern regions will not be subjected to the autumn influences, the daytime degrees will circling near +25 +30. Rains are most likely in the western regions next week.
In Kyiv, the Flag Day and the Independence Day will be marked by the sunny dry warm weather with an air temperature of +27 +29 degrees. On August 25, 26 and 27 the sun will warm up the capital air to +28 +30 degrees. On August 28, western cool will touch the capital. From Wednesday gradual decrease in air temperature will begin. From +26 degrees in the middle of the week to +19 degrees in early September. Meanwhile, we are enjoying beautiful August, we open our hearts and celebrate together our main holiday of freedom, human dignity and mother’s songs – the Independence Day of Ukraine.
