82 % of Ukrainians consider themselves being patriots of their country. This is evidenced by the results of a survey of the Sociological Group “Rating”.
Only 13 % stated that they don’t consider themselves patriots, another 5% found it difficult to answer.
“In all the macro-regions of Ukraine, the total amount of patriotic citizens exceeds 75 %: in the West, 85 %, in the Center – 84 %, in the South – 79 %, in the East – 76 %,” sociologists note. Those who hold the opposite opinion are more in the southeastern regions (from 20 to 25 %). Most of them are older people, poor people and people with a low level of education. Polls through a personalized formal interview took place on August 3-10. 2000 respondents from 18 years of age and older took part in it. The error of representativeness of the study: no more than 2.2 %.
