The Internet never ceases to amaze us with expressions and views of particular characters. Here we have a pure scandal that erupts in the social media. It is connected to popular Russian journalist and video blogger Yury Dud, who on his own page threw the thesis about “fraternal peoples”. More on this and what is “Dud”, in reactions from DUMKA.

The post itself that caused a fair outrage among Ukrainian people is rather concise: Allegedly, somewhere in Moscow, Yury Dud met a man who was wearing a T-shirt that depicted a handshake of Ukraine and the aggressor state. Apart from this, I propose you to look at the following: “I understand how many difficulties are between us.” Are you joking, Yury? Do I really have to tell what “difficulties” are between us? Lord almighty, give him some brains. Or replace it with the ability to speak.

Deputy Minister of Information Security of Ukraine, Dmytro Zolotukhin noted that he does not really believe in miracles, thanks to which Dud was able to grow from the position of ordinary journalist to the heights of Russian YouTube. Moreover, Zolotukhin added that even the biggest opposition representatives, who are interviewed by Dud, in the end, broadcast the idea “Putin is awesome”. Well, what else can be said, Mr. Dmytro. “Neighbors” have a lot of such Duds. Is it for no reason?

Here we have writer and journalist Bohdan Logvinenko. After all, he reminded us of his previous posts. In them he named Dud – FSB project, like anything else popular that was created nowadays in Russia.  In this case, the project broke down too soon, because after that Mr. Dud will get all the attention.

Labor Market Expert Serhiy Marchenko was also frustrated by Dud’s post.  He urged his readers not to allow Russian propaganda to think for them, because any “fraternity” and neutrality, cutting this short, are not a victory at all. As for me, I wouldn’t even let this propaganda to think. I wish I knew where to uncover it, and to cover it with a few feet of soil.

By the way, Dud got a variant of a completely logical answer: “Russians and Ukrainians – unfortunately, neighbors forever.” Indeed, Mr. Ivan, what a pity.  I was skipping geography lessons at school, but maybe it’s possible to separate those two and let them fly freely? Maybe to move some lithosphere plates, why not? It would be great.

Another direct response Dud got from the television journalist Roman Vintoniv, better known as Michael Schur. So, journalist wrote a whole letter to Dud. However, he translated it into Russian through translate App.  The text should be read with sarcasm switched on. Schur asks “brother” Dud to ask another Russian “brothers” to stop bringing weapons in Ukraine and send braver ones, because coward-“brothers” are getting out of stock too soon. As for me, it is the best screenshot sarcasm that I’ve found in recent weeks. High-five, Roman.

And the best post about Dud, in my opinion, was published by well-known volunteer Roman Sinitsyn. Message is simple: why you need to watch Russians and try to prove them something, if we already know how the best Russian looks like does. There is nothing to add.
